Sinclair and his team of nine staff members,
(10 if you include Teddy – a pup who is the
store’s mascot) are all ready to continue
to meet the needs of the customers in the
Muskoka region.
Building More Than Lumber
While their core was always lumber,
Muskoka Lumber quietly became something
more: a trusted partner in the region’s
construction and design industry. They
partnered with architects and builders, helped
homeowners bring dream cottages to life,
and became known for not just delivering
materials—but delivering value.
Most impressively, they managed to grow
without losing their community-first mindset.
The new Bracebridge location is just down the
street from the Muskoka Lumber Community
Centre which opened in October 2024. The
community centre is a state-of-the-art, multi
generational hub that groups all types of
community activities under one roof. The
owners of Muskoka Lumber are proud of their
involvement in such an important endeavor.
Today and Tomorrow
Today, Muskoka Lumber stands as one of
the leading building supply companies in
Central Ontario. With multiple locations, a
loyal team, and a deep portfolio of products
and services, they’re positioned not just as
suppliers, but as partners in some of the
region’s most interesting homes and cottages.
Their journey—from a single yard to
a multi-location organization—has been
driven by adaptability, customer focus, and
a deep understanding of what makes the
Muskoka region special. Their stores remained
personal, their staff remained local, and their
reputation remained one of meeting the
customers needs one person at a time.
