                                    Switzer,  step-grandchildren
                                    Natalie  and  Brandon  Thornhill
                                    and  a  great-grandson  Jaxson
                                    and step-great-grandson Ethan.
        He was the dear brother of the late Raymond and James Switzer.
        Robert  is  survived  by  his  sister-in-law  Joan  Switzer  of  Orillia,  his
        nieces, nephews and their families.
           Bob was born in Orillia and stayed in Orillia his entire life.  He
        entered the business the family business in 1962 after completing
        the Ontario Chartered Accountants Course.
           The  family  business  was  started  in  1919  by  William  Henry
        Switzer Bob’s great-grandfather then handed down to his father Earl
        and Uncle Roy.
           Along with Raymond and Jim, he took over the business in 1969
        from their father Earl upon his passing.
             Switzer  Planing  Mills  was  an  Allont  dealer  for  many  years
        operating under the Build-all name  - in the 1980’s this was changed
        to Homecare and then Timber Mart.
           He  went  on  some  memorable  holidays  through  the  LBMAO,
        buying groups and various vendors – notably Spain, England, Hawaii,
        mill tours and other conventions
            Bob enjoyed fishing with his brother Ray, oil painting, genealogy,
        and postcard and stamp collecting.
