www.lbmao.on.ca LBMAO Reporter - March-April 2026 13For the past 40 plus years Stubbe%u2019s has tried to change the way that concrete business is done in Ontario. In 1982 Herb Stubbe started making bulk concrete hog feeders at his farm in southern Ontario. Since then, their operation has grown. Expanding initially to bunker silo walls and slats to 2001 where they entered the residential and industrial concrete market. They Introduced their hollow wall concrete floor systems, followed by wall systems in 2006. In 2007 they added a Redi-Mix plant and in 2010 they purchased a rail terminal for the sales and distribution of cement powder. In the fall of 2024 Stubbe%u2019s started work on their new bagged concrete plant in Woodstock, Ontario. The site is a completely new build on 10 acres of land adjacent to Highways 401 and 403. By December of 2025 they were up and running test bags on the new line. In just over a year, they had built a beautiful 104,000 sq foot plant and equipped it with a modern bagging operation that will produce over 2000 bags of concrete products per hour. The staff of 15 includes sales, operations, and a team of researchers who test the quality of the batches. Stubbe%u2019s has built a laboratory in the plant to make sure they are providing a quality product. This new plant has a wet and a dry line so that they can bag both items that are part of the new PIVIT Line of products like Strongset, Fenceset and Sandset in a dry paper bag. They are also able to bag in a polybag like their Packbase and %u00bd%u201d Gravl. They have worked at changing a number of things that the industry has grown accustomed in order to help shake up the premixed concrete industry. The entire line of PIVIT products has been branded to identify the product use for the end user. Each of these products has a colour coded label, a name, and a description on the bag as well as a QR code which will take you to an AI assistant to help each user identify how the product should be used. Stubbe%u2019s has also changed the difficulty of ensuring skids were billed to customers in order to get them returned. Stubbe%u2019s has completely discarded the skid deposit and now offers each skid at no info@autostak.ca | www.autostak.com | 1-888-318-01413030Email us a request for our digital catalogue
