them with decks - either expanding the existing deck or
completely doing a full add on.
That was in 1994; now the company has 20 employees
and they market their software program across Canada
and into the United States. This growth was achieved by
strong beliefs in customer service and training support,
using industry trade shows to tell their story, and a
strong business development team. Development of
3D imaging to enhance the experience of design also
contributed to the unique Seljax solution.
Braven, when asked what was the primary reason that
customers choose the Seljax design program, responded
“simplicity”. It is easy to use with the proper training.

Reduced time in doing accurate design and estimates
means more profits for their company.
Moving forward Seljax is positioned to offer full
integration of the software solution, from the supplier to
the retailer. They are expanding their customer base to
include distributors and manufacturers. This will support
the building supply retailers with well trained staff on
hand to do estimates at the supplier level; as well as
offering design solutions to the contractor and consumer.
Reflecting on the success of the company, Braven
