Following dinner, Darryl Sittler sat down with
Castle President Ken Jenkins to share some
memorable highlights from his NHL career with
the group, recalling his journey to NHL stardom.
Darryl gave a heartfelt message about being true
to yourself amidst adversity, the importance of
staying humble and giving back to the community
and beyond.
For eight years now, Castle’s annual charity golf
function has benefitted the SickKids Foundation
and with the generosity of their attendees, the
event was another unbelievable success. The 2017
tournament raised an all-time record amount
of $27,000 in charitable donations thanks to
the generosity of Castle Vendor Partners and
a corporate match. SickKids is a health-care
community dedicated to improving the health of
children by providing the best in family-centred,
compassionate care. Castle is a “Patron” on the
wall of donors and following the unbelievable
success of this year’s tournament, Castle has raised
over $200,000 for this incredible foundation.
Castle Building Centres Group would like
