when he took on a new challenge by moving across the country to Ontario to
assume the position of President of the Canadian Hardware & Housewares
Manufacturers Association (CHHMA).
Vaughn was well-respected from both sides of the industry, as would be
attested to by the many friends and business associates he made through
the years. He was inducted into the Canadian Hardware & Housewares
Industry Hall of Fame prior to his retirement in 2018.
Vaughn enjoyed sailing his cruiser, as much golf as he could fit into
a week and having a pint at the Tudor Rose Pub with his Ajax friends who
loved to sit around “BS corner” and embellish on the length of that putt!
Many friends from the industry were able to join with other friends and
Vaughn’s family to celebrate his life at the McEachnie Funeral Home in Ajax
on June 27th.
