                                                      Cquality of the wood!  Many retailers refrain from selling it due to the limited
                                                      demand  and  some  misconceptions  on  the  maintenance  and  durability  of
                                                      it.  So why would any retailer want to sell it?  Profit!  If you become the “cedar

                                                        To better understand  the  cedar  market,  we went  to Nu-Forest Products
                                                      (Canada Inc.) in Beamsville, Ontario, a long-standing member who is recognized
                                                      as being a “cedar specialist”.  Tom Pearsons and his partner/spouse Marie have
                                                      owned the business for the past 10 years (who keeps track really), purchasing
                                                      it from Jack Schwietz and Brian Jones.  He had been hired as the General Sales
                                                      Manager and recognized the potential for the business.  Tom has grown up in
