and Schell Lumber were
geared up for some
competitive curling.
As you can see by the
pictures, it was intense,
full of drama (!!!) and a
lot of fun! Many of us
only curl once a year and
for some it was their
first time. For those who
participated, it was a great
day out with a wonderful
lunch and dinner and we
were out by 6:30 pm.
Prizes were awarded with
no blow outs.
If you have never curled
before and would like to
try this sport, come on
out. Curling is becoming
a very popular sport as
people become more
aware of its competitive
nature and the abilities
required to enjoy the
game. As well, it is a
social sport – and the
opportunity to meet up
with other industry people
is a real bonus. Even
competitors enjoy each
other’s company at this
event!
